The manor house comprises 3 en-suite rooms, sleeping 2 people in either a king-size or queen-size bed. Two of the rooms have patios, with amazing sea views inside and out. The rooms Seabreeze and Bayview have each a large en-suite bathroom, with separate seating areas and modern shabby chic seaside decor. Oyster Room is more intimate and period decorated to reflect the historic settler roots of Schafli farmhouse.
The self-catering accommodation comprises 3 units suited to accommodate 12 guests. All units come furnished with comfortable beds, an en-suite bathroom, a lounge area, and a TV with DStv. These units also come equipped with a kitchenette fitted with a fridge, microwave, stove, and oven.

The second bedroom, where there's a double bunk, wasn't clean at all, probably because of the space challenge. There was no apology for the damp bedding, mats, and the sofa. There are no ironing amenities.

We had a wonderful two-week stay at Schafli. We were a big family group with little kids and stayed in both the house and one of the family units. The property is lovely and we felt very much at home. We had lots of space to relax during the day and enjoyed the pool. Nomsa was an amazing host and we hope to stay again in the future.
No towels, had to ask for it. Milk had to be fetched from the fridge in the corridor, bedding is old, no shampoo, one bedside light worked, the other bedside light covers were loose. For me the place needs a total upgrade. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Waking up to the view of the sea, is like something out of a movie scene. What a beautiful place and our host was amazing and friendly.
Everything was very nice but just 2 small problems, the toilet paper was short and there was no tea spoons for our coffee and no milk, but other wise the place is stunning.

Friendly and helpful, caretaker's children can become disruptive if guests expect privacy. Attention to details such as soap, shampoo in the bathroom will contribute to better service. WiFi was weak.

The house is shabby, not chic. Beds and pillows really uncomfortable. Use of the common areas were denied. The ceilings in the bedroom were really horrible. No security whatsoever.

Ons was vriendelik gegroet en aangewys na ons kamer. In ons kamer het 'n muwwerige reuk gehang en ek besef toe dis die mat voor die skuif deur wat nat is. Die swembad was nie skoon nie. Ontbyt was op die huis en ons vra of hulle vars of geblikte vrugte gebruik, die dame se hulle gebruik vars vrugte. Ons het geblikte vrugte gekry. Die toilet was ook half foutief en moes 'n paar keer gedraai word om te spoel. Nice view en gasvryheid, maar ek het minder betaal by 'n ander plek in Margate en steeds 'n beter, groter plek gekry.

Modern yet rustic accommodation. Nice clean facilities all round. Rooms a little chilly in the winter, but nothing that an extra blanket couldn't help with. Lighting in the bed rooms could be improved with brighter light bulbs, especially at night. Breakfasts were simple but tasty. Nomsa was a friendly and helpful host.

The view from our room was lovely. The location is pleasant and the accommodation very comfortable. Hospitality was great. Nomsa looked after our every need. Security was quite adequate. We would recommend it.

Beautiful guesthouse with the most beautiful ocean views and views of the massive lawn. Everything was clean and the cleaners worked hard to ensure that everything was neat. The breakfast was divine and the restaurant across the road (C Club) has the best seafood and pizza. We will definitely go back again!

Schafli's host JJ is very welcoming and overwhelms you with his hospitality. The guesthouse has cute furniture, but some of the couches in the lounge looks a little tired. The view is exceptional from the rooms and living room. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There are various breakfast options that are tastefully prepared. The C Club's restaurant is walking distance and is highly recommended. I will definitely stay at Schafli Manor again.
Felt at home and we enjoyed it very much. Beautiful view and home. Will definitely visit again. Need a bit of maintenance. Our ceiling fan didn't work and our curtain rails were taped together with electric tape. Just a few 'easy-fixes' that need attention.

Very spoiled by hospitable and pleasant host and wife, JJ and Freda. They went out of their way to make us feel as at home as possible and the whole house, including the kitchen was at our disposal. The spacious house and large yard give you privacy. Fantastic view of the sea. House is in quiet neighborhood and opposite good restaurant.
Very warmly received and immediately felt at home! Room is beautifully furnished, spacious with nice chairs in front of sliding door to enjoy the view. Bathroom and shower very pleasant. We spent so much time at home and just read a book when it was rainy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
